The increasing number of Covid cases and deaths forced the Government of many states in India to input strict restrictions on public gathering, Stay at Home work styles etc. This was a major setback for the people who depend on daily wages and does not have a permanent job. They became jobless and had to suffer with poverty and hunger.

The government continues to enforce lockdowns several states in India to try to control the spread. In this situation this translates to severe economic hardship. Many are daily laborers, and without work, people cannot support their families, leading to a humanitarian and starvation crisis. HOMM is providing food bags and medical care to families affected by COVID. So far, we have helped over 1,700 families with food bags and over 3,200 meal packages to COVID patients and their families. Immune-boosting medicine for over 1,000 people. In all, we have helped over 11,000 people during this pandemic. We continue to provide food bags and medical care to those in need.
